Conspiracy

The title of this painting is “Conspiracy.” I painted it in 2007 with oil on canvas in dimensions of 50 x 80 cm. The painting portrays people planning a conspiracy against someone or a society. A woman above is watching over the group and seems to be guiding them. The use of a black background, strong colors, and black diagonal lines creates an eerie and disturbing mood and atmosphere. The house and chimney behind the subjects symbolize the flow of life, and the red and orange lines coming out of the chimney symbolize the lighting of a fire by the subjects and the people depicted.
